In 2012 we will continue to build on our achievements and will also venture into new areas. The delivery of this ambitious programme entirely depends on our members.
Some of our activities include:
- Training and conferences include: Behaviour Change Workshop - 25th January 2012 organised in conjunction with Defra and the...
- Spring conference on 30th March in Colchester -’Transport in the 21st Century’
- We will strive to become the Accreditation Body for travel planning if the feasibility study proves to be positive
- We will continue to support the regional network. This will include financial support and incentives
- We will hold our first ACT TravelWise Parliamentary Reception. The Association will hold its first reception in the New Year. Key political figures and speakers will be attending
- A year of collaboration. The Association will deliver collaborative benefits and services with CIVINET UK & Ireland next year with a view, should members of the two organisations agree, to merge in 2013.This will provide members with European expertise and also consolidate the sector

- A year of collaboration. 2012 will see develop a closer working relationship with Real Time Information Group. This organisation has a comprehensive remit to cover the effective and efficient use of technology in the interests of passenger transport users, operators and sponsors. More information will be issued shortly about this.
- Lobbying and Public Affairs - the Association will attend all the political conferences in England and also the main events in Scotland and Wales
