The tour of the Eastern Region took members to Milton Keynes for their October meeting. Jemma Drought Transport Planner - Smarter Choices for Milton Keynes Council took members on a walking tour pointing out the exciting initiatives taking place including a range of improvements to the rail station and a prominent public transport travel information centre located in the heart of the shopping centre. |
Following the tour the Group heard about TaxiShare UK from Graham Simpkins, which aims to help those who travel regularly to places such as rail stations to share journeys.
